The Haslingden Squash Club is friendly and informal and is open to all squash players regardless of ability or experience. It exists to enable players to play other club members and get good squash playing experience. We run training sessions for all standards, club nights, a box league and we also have teams in the North West Counties league. It doesn't matter if you're a total beginner or have been playing for years, the club is open and useful to all players, and players of all standards are currently included in the membership. The club also runs coaching and sessions specifically for juniors - see http://haslingdensquash.org.uk/juniors for details. The club runs a box league system, with several divisions of 5 players, so each player has 4 league games to play every calendar month. July and December are set aside as 'challenge months' where any player can challenge any other player higher up in the league. If a challenge is successful, then the challenger jumps up the table to be above the opponent. You can join the league straight away by joining at the bottom, or you can play 2 challenge matches with league players and send your results in to admin@haslingdensquash.org.uk to join the league in an appropriate position as soon as possible. This is more useful for more experienced players. Joining the club is easy. You can get a form here, fill it in and email it to admin@haslingdensquash.org.uk. There is a nominal membership fee payable by standing order. The fees and bank details are in the joining form. Please use your name as a reference when you make the standing order so that we know where the money has come from. Joining the club gives you access to our training sessions and all club events as well as the contact list for other club members. The Haslingden Squash Club and associated box league is open to players of any ability, age or background. The only requirement is enthusiasm. If you join the box league, your name will be in the league at the beginning of the next calander month. The club runs teams for more experienced players which compete with other teams in East Lancs and North Manchester. If this is of interest to you, please contact us. You can contact us on admin@haslingdensquash.org.uk. Other NewsLooking for a new sport ?
